STS Digital Twin will support your simulation with necessary parameters, e.g.

  • internal capacitance network (CW, CC, CD)
  • capacitance against ground (PE)
  • magnetising and leackage inductance (LM, LS)
  • core and copper losses of transformer (PV, Cu ,PV, Fe)

 

EMI-FILTER - THE RIGHT DESIGN AT THE FIRST TIME!

Due to modern power semiconductors such as SiC MOSFETs and GAN transistors the benefit of higher switching frequencies can be realised. This is associated with higher interference currents due to the inevitable presence of parasitic capacitances in contact-cooled system components. Gaining high power density for magnetic components, they need to be mounted on a cold plate.

In order to simplify the usually very complex and time-consuming design of EMI filters, STS offers the STS Digital Twin for custom specific MF inductive components BEFORE hardware realisation.  This allows the EMI behavior of the overall system to be reliably for differntial-mode (DM) as well as for common-mode (CM) interferences.

 

MORE REALISTIC SIMULATIONS

The ability to simulate functional behaviour is also a benefit of the Digital Twin. This is especially beneficial in SRC-topogies (loss free switching), considering recharging of capacitances by the magnetization current. In addtion saturation as well as core and winding losses can be simulate realistically.
