“I was introduced to STS by a good acquaintance in 1990 and immediately felt at home in the friendly working environment here. I started off as a winder and then worked in assembly. I then spent 10 years as a group leader before switching to prototype manufacturing. I love coming into work every day and hope that I’ll be able to continue doing my bit for STS’s success for a long time to come.”
“I came to STS through a temporary employment agency. After a few months, I was taken on permanently, first as a winder, then in assembly and finally as a machine operator. At the start of 2020, I successfully completed a programming course and moved to prototype manufacturing. My colleagues and I are like a small family. We have lots of fun at work and are always on hand to help each other. If possible, I plan to complete some more training at STS to help me take my next career step.”
STS was my first employer after completing my studies. I joined in October 2019, impressed by the company’s standing as a hidden champion and the fact that its products are made in Germany.
The working environment is also great. All of my colleagues are friendly and helpful, and we work well and productively together. I look forward to working at STS for as long as possible.”
